A mix of photography, recipes, personal thoughts, faith, and lots of family stuff, but not necessarily in that order.

The weekend is over

This day flew by like no other. Since the sun goes down at 7:30pm, it kinda limits the day light. I'm really missing my two older kids, and wish they could be home more. I'm looking forward to the weekend of Oct 8th, hopefully they'll both be home for Brice's birthday. YIP
Oh, Brad (rick's bro) called and invited Rick and Gavin to go out on the boat today...it was a beautiful day for it. Gavin had fun water skiing. He was able to "get up" on one ski........Way to go Gavin. I guess they dropped anchor and swam a bit too, Brrrrrr.
Friday night we went over to Brad and Julie's and laughed our brains off at a "Brad Stein" video. Have you ever laughed so hard that you can't make a noise, and all the pressure builds up in your head and you feel like it will explode....... that kind of laugh. Oh my aching head. and, that was the 3rd time I'd seen that video. It will never cease to crack me up.
Saturday we spent the afternoon at my little Bro's house in Lake Elmo. We celebrated my Big Bro and Cindy's 25th wedding anniversary. It was alot of fun, My sis-in-law made a "reastaunt style" supper, it was Y-U-M-M-Y!!!!!!
I also was able to talk to my niece megan, who just happens to be in London. So that was an added treat. Megan and Jamey composed a song for their mom and dad's anniversay and had it on a disc......it was beautiful you two, what an amazing gift, BRAVO
(Maybe my kids will do the same for us, I can only hope :)
