Just sayin'

I'm not bashing "big cars"
I have a Honda minivan,
but I do see the yellow lines when I pull into a parking spot,
and I try and stay in the middle.
That's me on the right
The driver of the mid-size SUV obviously didn't care,
that person had to walk past my car to the elevator
and I'm sure he/she glanced over to see that their parking job was pathetic,
but why care....why care?
Needless to say when I came out of work the other day
I had to squeeze my (not so petite) body into the passenger side.
The vehicle to the right of me was another larger SUV that parked very close to me as well.
I gently pushed his mirror in (because I had a better chance of squeezing in on this side)
 and squirmed myself in. Whew!
My frustrated self couldn't leave it at that...
I wrote out a little message for the owner of the car on the Left......
"If your gonna drive this hog to work, learn how to park it"
It was a long day,
I was tired,
I just wanted to be able to open my car door get in effortlessly and drive home.

  1. You must have had a rough day, Jackie, because this seems so out of character for you. But sometimes you gotta say what you gotta say...

  4. I'd like to meet the person that could get the door open and squeeze through that space! Jeesh! Nice parking job!

  6. Love that you left a note. Some times it makes me feel so much better to know I addressedt the issue. Which is why I send notes to City of Rochester and MNDot when I see an issue that I think could be better too:)
