An 80th birthday and Mother's day celebration

On May 5th my Father-in-love turned 80....
yesterday we celebrated him with family and friends

even his boyhood friend Bob (right) came to celebrate, they still get together often.

It was a good turnout, we got to visit with a lot of family that we don't get to see enough

All my kids were there to celebrate with Grandpa Wayne
and to wish their mama a Happy Mother's Day!

even my sweet daughter who had to work the night shift this weekend

Not sure whats going on in this photo, Gavin seems quite unenthused!
My daughter, daughter-in-love and myself are having way too much fun  :)

My baby on the Left giving his "big" sister a hug.

It's always a good weekend when it involves family gatherings... a lot of love going on there!
Thanks for making your mama feel special kids.... Love you all

  2. Happy 80th to your father-in-love. What a special occasion. We celebrated my mom's 80th a year ago and she had the best day with family and friends attending her open house at the community hall in my hometown. It was the best gift we could have given her.

Sounds like you had a fabulous weekend. I agree that any time spent with family is absolutely great.

  3. Jackie, I just love reading all your posts about your family gatherings! It is so encouraging and inspiring to know that the love that we share with our children will grow and blossom even after they leave home. Thanks for being such a godly example! Happy Birthday to your Father-in-law. :)
