A mix of photography, recipes, personal thoughts, faith, and lots of family stuff, but not necessarily in that order.

Snapshot Sunday

So I have a bunch of photo's that are favorites of mine,
some are edited, some are not, some you may have seen before some you have not.
I love photography and someday plan to really learn how to
use my camera in all kinds of settings and light.
But for now, I do what I do and really enjoy it.
So hang in there on Sundays for my feature photo(s) on...

Snapshot Sunday

Love the muted colors of impending fall
tattered curtains hang still in the windows
worn shingles, crumbling chimney, weathered paint
an unoccupied house that surely has a story to tell.....
sits alone in the country for passerby's like me to notice and appreciate.

Hi there - I found your blog via Minnesota Prairie Roots - Audrey Helbling. I've been meaning to "check you out" for awhile! I also have been thinking about getting bangs again. I'm going gray at my temples and wonder if bangs would hide that more happily than coloring it! :-) Yes, I'm cheap when it comes to hair. Oh, and I've read Little Bee (as you seem to be doing) - kinda didn't love it, but it was interesting - what do you think of it? - Gretchen

    1. Hey Gretchen, THese bangs are driving me nuts I keep wanting to push them aside all the time, but I think each day is getting better. I just finished "little bee" last night. Not much depth, I kept waiting for something to happen but it never really went anywhere, i liked it in the beginning but then it fizzled. Thanks for stopping by, love hearing from new bloggy friends :)
