Packed with protein...

What do you have for breakfast?
Here's mine....almost every single day.
A chocolate/raspberry latte from Caribou and a Cliff builders Protein bar.

I have never been one to sit down at the table with a bowl of cereal and glass of juice.
On days that I work, my breakfast is portable, I grab a protein bar and
drive to my favorite Caribou. My friends there already know my drink,
sometimes it's ready for me before I even get to the register to order it,
 now that's service!!!
My breakfast is actually quite healthy and VERY satisfying!
The Latte is Skinny which means fat-free milk and sugar-free flavor shots.
An excellent way for my to get my dairy in for the day...right  :)
The protein bar I get in a combo pack from Sams Club.
20 g protein,  which is awesome because I have a hard time getting in my protein.
13 vitamins and minerals, because I'm bad at remembering my vitamin every day.

If you only look at the number of calories and fats, I'm sure this would
scare the pants right off you, but you have to look at the whole picture.
This protein bar sticks with me until lunch time,
it's so yummy with my latte and it's about a dollar a bar,
I really benefit from the fact that it's packed with protein and vitamins and actually tastes good.

What's your breakfast look like....please share  :)

  1. Every day, unless I am out of bananas, I eat a bowl of old-fashioned oatmeal with half a banana. I started eating this two years ago. The first few days, I thought I couldn't do it. But I had heard that oatmeal is good for your cholesterol. Mine isn't high. And now I rather enjoy my oatmeal. I've never been one who really likes breakfast foods.

Yours sounds pretty tasty and satisfying.

  2. Same breakfast everyday: two whole grain frozen waffles with nutella spread and a diet coke. If Nora decides to steal bites from me, then I might make a third waffle:)

  4. It really varies for me. To drink I usually have green tea or hot water with lemon. Sometimes I have oatmeal, sometimes quinoa, and lately it's greek yogurt and a banana. When we travel we take the Think thin protein bars. You are right those protein bars really fill you up until lunch time. I agree you have to think about the whole picture.
