A mix of photography, recipes, personal thoughts, faith, and lots of family stuff, but not necessarily in that order.

Our Christmas celebration with the kids

The best present for me is to have all my kids at home with Rick and I.
This year that was Christmas night

Brianna-Chris & Audrey

Gavin

This sweet little one (her 1st Christmas)

and the newlyweds, Brice and Jenny
~
Brice & Jenny stayed with us for 2 nights It was so nice having them around, we did alot of relaxing, watched a movie or two and had a visit from Hunter . We went to a movie yesterday afternoon with Jenny, Brice, Gavin and Jenny's parents, then we had pizza after the movie, Brianna and Audrey joined us too.
Today we all went to church, then hung out at home after lunch. I got called into work for a few hours, drats. When I got home we lounged and watched "it's a wonderful life" , well we tryed but our naps got in the way :)
After a spaghetti dinner, we gave our hugs and said our "goodbyes" to Brice & Jenny.
Just as we were thinking it's kinda quiet, missing all the kids around, we got a visit from our other kids, Brianna & Chris and Audrey.
Ahhhh, We are so blessed
~
I think I just heard Gavin's car pull in the drive way.... Everyone is now home and tucked away for the night.

Christmas on my side of the family

So many celebrations
We had Christmas day lunch at my mom & dad's house.
The "Erickson" grandkids.
(only missing two...Jamey & Kate)

Good food and family time together.

Cousins and my "special" brother Rick.

Christmas eve

Christmas Eve is spent at Rick's parent house.
After church we head on over and begin the prep for a yummy meal.
Wait....what yummy meal, oh yeah. I almost forgot, I got called into work at 8:00 just as we were about to sit down to eat....drats

Rick usually has the job of cutting the Ham. He likes it cuz he can nibble as he goes.

I came back from work to find all these sweet people
The present opening had already begun, but I didnt miss too much.

Cuzzins Jill, Brianna and Kellie

And then there's this little one... that's right, eating the paper
As our family grows and the kids start to get marry, there will be years where we wont have them all in the Christmas picture. We missed you Ryan & Kate !!!
We were glad to have ALL of ours there, it was a fun & cherished evening with family
