Today marks the end of another chapter in my Nursing career.

It was my last day working in the Recovery room. Cant believe I was there 4 years. I really had a great group of peeps to work along side of and I will miss my friends. I was thrown an awesome "going away/good luck" party today. People brought lots of great food and goodies, I was also presented with a nice card signed by many, and a gift certificate to Barnes and Noble for $60.00......wow

My Head nurse also presented me with my award information for 25 yrs of service at Mayo. The nice plaque you see below, came along with a 25 yr pin, and a $40.00 resteraunt gift certificate.

The candy was a bonus for a bunch of us that had a delay in getting our stuff. I now get to go online and pick out a gift. I have my eye on a few things including a "Coach" purse, digital camera, Photo printer or jewlery. I will ponder my decision for awhile before i make the big choice.
Mom, congratultions on 4 years!!! They will miss you!!!! I'm excited for you to start your new job, the orientation stuff will fly by. I love you!!! I'm excited to see what you pick out, wow a Coach huh? coolio.
