The work week flew by like there was no tomorrow. So I guess that's a good thing.
I worked a the "Gonda" site all week except today and I'm thinking I like it there best. It's just more organized and doesnt seem as chaotic.
Starting tonight at 5:30 I'm officially "ON-CALL" until Monday morning at 7am. I actually have to go into work on both Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 - 4:00. There are already 3 cases scheduled for tomorrow, and ususally more get added in the morning. If it's something emergent then we come in even if it's the middle of the night. Oh I hope that doesnt happen, I think I would have to cry a little.
So wish me luck....that I dont have to be rudly awakened from my slumber, and that this weekend flies by without a hitch.
Tonight Rick and I went to "Westfire" for our favorite meal. We always split a club house sandwich, it's so yummy. We about froze to death though, They had the air conditioner running and we were sitting under a vent, I'm still cold...froze to the bone.
Last night we went out to the hood of my mom and dad's, we havent seen them for about 3 weeks, that's gotta be a record. Mom and I giggled, while Rick and Dad talked shop.
Now I must go and find a blanket to wrap up in, It's just way to cold for me to survive. Hope you all have a splendid weekend, it's spose to be beautiful outside, so take some time and smell the daisies :)
I don't get it Jackie...how can you be freezing when it is summer time?! And you love the cold in the winter? Please explain.
ReplyDeleteOnce it's not winter anymore, it's not suppose to be cold. So then my body says... "WOW, it's not suppose to be cold, what the heck, it's freezing" In the winter my body expects cold and is all for it, plus the fireplace is on and i have "winter" clothes on. Now do you get it. :)
ReplyDeleteI wish you the best while you're on call. At least you're considered important, maybe like a doctor. Maybe I should say "Welcome back to new mommyhood." I am always on call with Mekhi in the middle of the night. He is pretty good though. Eats about twice a night and goes back to sleep almost right away. We're lucky I guess. Well...most nights anyway:)
