Rick and I FINALLY had a little Get-away for our anniversary. It was spontaneous which is always the funnest. We talked to Brianna Friday night and got things covered with Gavin and then we ditched town. (Thanks Brianna and Chris for checking on Gavin and having supper with him)
We didnt know where we should go so we just headed north. We ended up in Oakland Mn, which is just east of St. Paul. There is a huge movie theater right off the highway and several hotels. We booked a room at Wingate Inn, checked into the room and drove across the parking lots to a nice little restraunt. We then went back to our room until it was time for the movie. The Hotel was very nice, the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. We got up this morning and went down to the continental plus breakfast. It was awesome, Yummy fruit, yogurt, fresh batter waffles, toast, rolls,bagels, cereal, eggs, bacon, and several things to drink. Such great choices :)

After breakfast we decided to head further north to the Albertville outlet mall. We ventured into a lot of stores but the only thing I ended up buying was boxers and socks for Gavin. (hee hee)
Rick's favorite store "Timberland" wasnt there any longer so that was bit dissapointing. Drats
Our weekend was lovely. It was spontaneous, fun, carefree and we got to visit some very special people. You'll have to read the posts below to check out the details of our 2 day adventure.... Enjoy :)
