Just an update

Hello my friends

Well it's Friday and I have made it through another week. I am officially done with orientation. I think I will like just being totally on my own. This week I worked all late shifts which is 9am - 5:30pm. Tuesday, thurs and today we got done early which is always good. I'm hoping that in about 10 months (1 year total) I will feel fairly comfortable with the new job. That's about how long it takes....so I'm told, and I guess experience has told me that also.

What else.....
Brice called me today, which pretty much made my day. I miss him alot, can't stand the thought that he won't be coming home this summer (unless he doesn't get a job). I really don't like the chickies leaving the nest....pooh
Thank goodness Brie and Chris are in town and we get lots of visits (which we love) and Gavin is home. I will chain him to his bed so he can't leave me too. Darn kids anyway, you spend most of your life raising them to be self sufficient capable individuals and then look what they go and do..... leave, drats.

Tonight Rick,Gavin and I went to Canadian Honker for dinner. They have a live band that plays at 8:30 and we were sitting right by them. We had finished eating but decided to stay and listen to a couple of songs. They were pretty good, very mellow and luckily they didn't blow us out of our seats. When we stood up to leave they announced that there was a cover charge to leave, hee hee. We didn't think It would be easy to sneek outta there unnoticed.

Tomorrow I will be attending a youth leaders conference in the cities with our youth minister and a few other leaders. We will be there for most of the day. I hope it's a good one.
