A mix of photography, recipes, personal thoughts, faith, and lots of family stuff, but not necessarily in that order.

I long for winter on days like today.

My weekend at a glance...

Hot Air balloons heading straight over my deck . They are noisey little buggers. (they woke me up at 7:00)
***
My (really cool) Mom.
We were "chillin" on Saturday with my sister Jodi and niece Jensen.

Gavin and Brianna

Gavin shooting hoops..... This is what he does 75% of his waking hours.
***

Little jensen, sipping some Gator Aid.
***
Chris ans Jensen playing in the backyard, awwwwww fun

Now It's Sunday, We're home from the mall after a morning in church. The air conditioner has been started, and a afternoon of leisure begun. As you all know I'm not a fan of humidity and heat...so today is just that, blah
I will rest with visions of snowflakes, and the sounds of snowplows in my head and dream of quiet, fresh, crisp winter days. Ahhh the thought of those days bring a smile to my face. I long for winter on days like today.

  3. Mom, I don't think you want winter, I think you just want no humidity. Who wants to be in pain because the cold air is killing your skin cells. I like this weekend! Yipyip!

  4. It was a fun time on Sat. I'm mad because the ballons went north instead of south over my house.

  6. Summer good. Winter bad.

Camping with you was the best! Thanks for so many wonderful camping memories. It was a very sad day for us too when we sold our camper....the end of an era. Fun to know that another young family will be making the memories now though.
