It's time again to have my Niece and Nephew Sam and Jensen for a couple of days in the summer. I traveled to the cities this morning to pick them up from their home in Champlin. We, along with my sister and her husband Darin went to lunch at a yummy place called Panchero's. It's alot like Chipotle's, very good.
Then me and the kids started our adventure home. We decided to stop and see Brice but on the way we made a pit-stop at the St.Paul Cathedral(mostly so I could go to the Bathroom) Sam and Jens thought it was pretty cool. Jensen was very inquizative...cute :)
We got to Brice's place of employment, walked in the door and there he was. He was working in his cute little apron and was quite surprised to see us. There wasnt actually any customers at the time so we had a short but sweet little visit. We left there and I drove the kids by Brice's condo and showed them the college he goes to. We hopped back on I-90 to return to Roch.

We basically talked all the way home so it seemed like a very quick trip.
We Played outside for awhile, Jensen sort of ran through the sprinkler, sam rode his bike, played on the swing set and walked across the top of the monkey bars (like a pro) hee hee that ones for you Jodi and Darin.

Then we decided to go see Chris at Culver's, oh and we ate too. Chris snuck up behind the kids and made Jensen jump, it was funny.
We came back home played outside some more, Rick and sam lift some weights, did some random stuff, then the kids had a snack while we made a good-nite call to Jensen and sam's mom and dad. The kids got ready for bed, we read a book and off to bed they went.
We have a big day planned tomorrow so I'm sure there will be another Blog for you reading enjoyment. Stay tuned for part 2 tomorrow night.
So, did I read that right...he was walking on "top" of the monkey bars? Can't wait for Part II! We love you Sam and Jensie...please don't break any bones!
ReplyDeleteIt's always a good time when Sam and Jensen come to Culver's! I enjoy having them there and then people ask me how I know em' and I'm like, yo we like cuzzins! Holla!
ReplyDeleteLOl, Chris, you're funny. They love you! I like when jensen and sam come over too! In fact Jensen is watching me type this right now. Jensen says....."ummm....I was funny to Chris and Rick was being funny too.
