Back from Pine Haven

So, a little about our fabulous week at camp...

We arrived last Sunday and got settled in. Brie and Brice had fun showing Chris and Jenny all the spots that are special to them about camp. We all went to a town called Dorsett for supper. They have a yummy buffet that was quite enjoyable. Everyone was VERY tired Sunday night so we all retired early for the night.

Monday was a good day to just hang out. It was not the best weather, but we still had fun. We canoed, played softball and the kids went to town to the candy store. Monday night we played games and hung out some more.

Tuesday, Brice and Jenny had to head back to the cities. Brice had some car trouble but we somehow fixed what we needed to fix with a little electrical tape and they were on their way. It was fun having the two of them there even if it was only for two days. Tuesday was also shopping day. Me ,Sharalyn, Kelsey and Brianna had a fun time buying stuff, having lunch in town and just being together. Tuesday evening the weather shaped up so Brianna ski'd and Jill and Brianna tubed behind the boat. A bunch of us hung out on the beach and enjoyed the sunshine.

Wednesday was a beautiful day, a bunch of us went to "Christmas World" to play on the go-carts and to play mini-golf. Chris Thought he was soooooo cool cuz he "lapped me" on the go-cart track. (what-ev)

The afternoon was spent out on the beach. Oh...I might add that I got stung by a bee, it was alot of fun. Grrr

Thursday, Chris and Brie went biking in Itasca with one of the guys (Jim). I'm pretty sure they had a great time. In the afternoon Rick, Brianna, chris and I went into town to raid the candy store. It wasnt the best "weather day" but we still had fun. Thursday night we had a fire and roasted "Smores" It was a fun night to sit around and chat.

Friday Morning it was time to pack up, so that's what we did. After we were pretty much packed we went for a long boat ride with brad and jill. It was hard to leave cuz it was such a beautiful day. Lots of sunshine.

On the way home we stopped at the Albertville Mall and picked up a few things, then ventured the rest of the way home. It was such a fun week. I loved that Chris and Jenny were able to finally come up and see what Our family has enjoyed for years. We missed Gavin alot, it's very hard to go to Pine Haven without him along. Darn that football anyway.
