Fall is in the air....
Tonight I took a little walk after supper.
The smell of fall is definatley in the air.
The sound of mowers even sounds like fall.
Some of the leaves are starting to turn and all the fall flowers are blooming.
It's cool and crisp feeling, (only "fall"can describe what a crisp feeling is...we all know it.
I still wont give into the cool nights,
windows remain open and blankets pile higher on the bed.....Cozy and Snuggly.

I returned home to find a fire in the pit....Oh what a lovely surprise as this too is a very "fall thing"
Sitting in the swing with my favorite guy watching the flames dance wildly in the cool fall darkness, there's nothing better, except maybe winter. Hee Hee

Pretty pictures! I know what you mean about crisp, I like it too, but I shouda had a sweatshirt on today, brrrr! I like fall, but winter is too cold, sorry mum.

ReplyDeleteawww..fires are awesome. I wish i didn't live so tightly close to the neighbors...i'd make Aaron build campfires more often. or even Pooky..he could do it too. this weather makes me miss my home in mantorville though. a season with so many memories for me. *sigh*
