After a good night's sleep we had breakfast with lots of family memeber's....said our "goodbye's" and headed out of Roseau across the top on Minnesota to our first stop. "Lake of the woods", more like ocean of the woods, Ha. Here's Rick dangling his tootsie's in the water.
None of us had ever been to Canada and well... we were just too close not to take advantage of stepping into another country so we shot over the bridge into Canada. 
We went down the road about a mile and stopped at little park. We stood around for a bit, the boys threw the football around and then we left.
Here we are at the park in Canada. That's the United States on the other side of the lake.
PROOF, we really were there. We got back through customs without our passports of birth certificates....Yikes
Those border patrol have no sense of humor, jeesh
Then it was on to Duluth.....

After a walk down the pier and some rock throwing into Lake Superior 
we hopped in the car for the trip back home. We had a lovely day with our kids, it was fun to be in another country and see three very large bodies of water (Rick LOVES lakes)
Wow! What an agenda! Nice quick trip. And what a wonderful family you have! Thanks for blessing us with all of your presence at the wedding. It means more than you can ever know.
