FIVE generations...
Yesterday wil caravan'd over to blooming prairie to see Rick's grandpa, Neil Hemmer.
It was the Christmas celebration at the nursing home.
It was a good day for grandpa, he smiled, interacted with his great-great granddaughter, 3 of his great- grandkids, 4 of his grandkids and his two own kids kids. (plus all their significant others). Grandpa isn't able to hear much any more but the device on his ears helps.

Such sweet smiles...He has loved seeing this little one from the first time they met when she was just a few weeks old.

We cherish these times with a special patriarch of the Hemmer family. Grandpa is soon to be 98 years old.... hoping to see him again for a birthday celebration in March.
What a worthwhile trip. He sure looks good.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures of him and Audrey cuz you can see the twinkle in his eye. You forgot to mention that Grandpa was fake 'growling' at you for taking all the pictures, haha.
