Happy Nurse week
to the most compassionate, caring, nurse I know.....my daughter
I stole a quote from my daughters "facebook wall" today, here's what she posted...
"I took care of the most beautful lady last night.
Surrounded by her family, suffering with cancer pain, not much time left to live,
she showed such grace and warmth through her words and actions.
Feeling so humbled myself to be spared such sorrow and to be given
this spring day, free of pain and sickness, with nothing better to do than
have a picnic with my sweet babies. (Job 1:21) ~Brianna~
Keeping it all in perspective, so proud of you honey!
She learned from the best.
ReplyDeleteHappy Nurse Week to both of you. I, too, have met some mighty fine and caring nurses who made hospitalizations so much easier.
Thanks Audrey, My mom was a nursing assistant so I guess it's in our blood. It's cool to see the desire passed on to more generations.
DeleteAww, thanks Mama. I wish I could say I am always compassionate, but I try! People just go through such horrible things, makes me sad :/ Although I must say being compassionate comes more naturally than being tough, but sometimes ya gotta be tough too!
ReplyDeleteWe need to be both, depending on the circumstances....but I think compassion is the desired outcome! You're the best darling!
DeleteMy Mom is a retired nurse. Happy nurses week to both of you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rachel, 31 years and still going :)
