I feel very lucky to live on the NW edge of this big city of Rochester (pop. 108,000)
The "country" is with-in walking distance, if we head out on the douglas trail.
by car it's just a few short miles and I can be here....
Today I needed a drive in the country, there was a break in the rain & storms
so out I went for a short drive to the peace and quiet on country roads.
The corn is loving the rain
I feel like when it's stormy outside everything looks "high-def" through my camera lens.
Love this old barn
This field was pretty wet and still not planted, but the tractor is ready to go,
and I'm sure the farmer is anxious

Fun little farm yard, notice the cute little house in the foreground, not quite sure what it is, at first I thought it might be a school bus shelter, but it was too far from the driveway, so my second thought was a little garden shed.... thoughts anyone?
farm in the distance
These guys seemed rather amused by the lady with the camera
