Freshly fallen snow in St. Paul
So Rick and I jumped in the car at 7:50am to travel to Eden Prairie to watch Gavin's track meet (as any supportive parent would do). We really couldnt believe we were gonna stand in 50 MPH winds and temps below 40 degrees.
We got a call from Gavin at about 8:20 that went something like this......
*****
Gavin: Mom.....
Me: Yah
Gavin: We're here (eden prairie) and the meet is cancelled
Me: WHAT!!!!! You gotta be kidding me
Gavin: Nope...It's cancelled, the coach is kinda mad.
Me: What a bunch of numb skulls, didnt they know they had teams traveling 2 hours to get there. I thought it was kinda rediculous to have a meet in this weather. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Gavin: Yeah

So Brice took the day off work to attend the meet so we decided to continue on up to visit with him and take him out for breakfast. (plus I had a bag of groceries for him.)
As usual Brice made me laugh....like he does. We had a good time looking through his current projects for school. The things he does amaze me!
He chose a place called the "Copper Dome" for breakfast. It's in St. Paul,a very cool spot and the food was great.
We left Brice so he could get busy with school stuff and Laundry (believe me that will keep him busy all day) I posted a few lovely pics below....Enjoy
C'mon Jackie....ya gotta be sick of the snow by NOW! Admit it..you want warmth, sunshine, pansies....
ReplyDeleteyeh stop with the snow obsession, everyone enjoys a nice summer day!!!!! Glad you had fun with Bricey, thanks for stopping by to see us!
