Christmas time

CHRISTMAS EVE
Just as I thought I was feeling well enough to eat last night (48 hours into the flu) I found out the Chicken noodle soup didn't "sit" too well with me, and I was hit once again with a vengance at 9:30pm. Rick and I were sitting in the family room watching "Narnia" while our dear family were celebrating Christmas eve at the Grandparents. I was sick for 4 hours and settled down again around 1:30am this morning. I really just wanted to cry, I think my lower lip came out at one point and I even whimpered. I wish this dreaded affliction on no one! Still, the good thing... Now I'm 8 lbs down. Rick was lucky enough not to get the full bang, but still not feeling too well.
Brianna snapped a few pic for us to enjoy at the Hemmer celebration
Cousins goofing around as usual

CHRISTMAS DAY - the stocking were hung on the chimney with care...

Woke up about 6:00 and went out to sit in my chair. My mind was going a mile a minute with no where to go, so I just prayed...lots to be thankful for and many to pray for so that kept me busy. My stomache was still in a knot but atleast I wasn't clinging to the toilet.
About 9 the boys were awake and wanting to dive into presents.
I had taken a shower and felt somewhat alive again. It was a sweet morning especially knowing it would be Brice's last at home as a single guy. We enjoyed opening gifts and laughed at the boys and their shenanigans. Brianna called, (she was in her "giddy Christmas morning" mood) and her and Chris REALLY wanted to come over. So over they came to share gifts and
more laughs.
We had a wonderful morning with our kids. Rick and I look at each other and still cant believe these kids are ours, what a joy they are. We will treasure these days for ever & always, and look forward to many more family holidays!
STOCKING TIME

**************************************************
Still feeling diseased, Rick and I decided to stay home from the festivities at my parents home today, so went sent the kids off hoping they'll bring back some tales of the days happenings.
We hope to see Brice's finace' Jenny soon to celebrate a little Christmas with her too.... who knows maybe even tonight (if we should be so lucky) More pics to follow I'm sure :)
Hope you all enjoyed time with family or friends today, stay healthy!
Merry Christmas
