A mix of photography, recipes, personal thoughts, faith, and lots of family stuff, but not necessarily in that order.

It's definatly gonna be a white Christmas

The last few days Rochester got blasted with snow, and now comes wind and bitter cold temps (the only part of winter that doesn't thrill me).

Not sure the snow total but I'm quessing somewhere around 7-8 inches

Looking out my deck window at our pine trees

Snow building up on the deck rail.
************

Brice is home for his Christmas break and I am thrilled. All three kids were here to help me make "kiss cookies".

It wasnt long before I stood in the kitchen alone......

...happy to be watching my 3 play in the snow. Brings back memories of them on that same hill when they were little. They seemed little again yesterday but I didnt seem to have the same control over them as I did when they were tots.....
This would be Brice, going head first down the deck rail, If he falls off the side it's a ways to the ground. (When he was little I would have been able to stop him...with just my voice, ha)

So now they decide it would be fun to jump of the deck (with me in the window yelling, "dont you dare"......

.... as you can see my voice doesnt quite have the same influence anymore. *Brice is off the gates first....
....followed by a more careful Gavin. (I think Brice is tugging at his legs here)
Last but not least, my pregnant daughter on a snowboard.....there aint nothing more precious!
(I heard Brice and Gavin both say to their sister..."you can't do that, you got a baby in there"
I cherish these memories and look forward to the ones to come. My kids and their dadddy mean the world to me, I am truly blessed and looking forward to the changes our family will have. So far we got Chris, next will be baby Audrey, then Jennifer. There will be more names in the future and, I can hardly wait to see what God has in store for us.
