This weekend was the "Wedding Extravaganza" in Rochester. It's a hugh show with many venders that come and try to promote their services for weddings. i.e. Photographers, caterers, florists, music and so on.
Poor Jenny had to work but really wanted to attend so..... Brice agreed to go with Jenny's mom Jan and myself. He was such a trooper and hung in there with us for about 2 hours. (p.s. there were actually alot of guys there, so Brice didnt feel too rediculous)
Brice with Jan (jenny's mom), signing up for some stuff
At one point he told me he thought he was gonna "lose it". He was in a crowd of many women and sort of trapped, as he saw an opening to get out he was corraled back in by two large women who blocked his get-away. Some how he maintained composure and slithered out into the clear.
We were able to get alot of info for Jenny, and Brice made and executive decision for the DJ and signed a contract. It was one of those "sign up now and get 200.00 off", AND the guy who owns it, is a kid who grew up in our church. Brice and Jenny also have the option to opt out within 90 days of the wedding if another "Deal" comes along.
I'm getting so excited for the wedding, what a sweet couple they are! Alot of decisions still to be made, but they have a good start and lots of ideas.
Can't believe it! First of all....Bricey can't be getting married!! Isn't he still like 8 years old?! Where did the time go! Huh? Second of all...he maintained his sanity in what would be called a bride's mayhem?! Unbelievable! My congratulations and hats off to you Brice! If you had patience for all that...you've got the first step of this marriage thing figured out! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteGood job Brice, way to not flip out when you were trapped in.
ReplyDeleteHe will be the greatest husband in the world! No doubt! He was the greatest boyfriend and is now the greatest fiance!
