A mid-winter family get-together
We had a great day today at my Little Bro's house.
We celebrated my neice & nephews birthdays

As my sis and I were standing around talking we were thinking how neat it isthat our family has grown up a close-knit family and have remained that way.
It's easy when the cousins are all younger and still living at home. We...the mom's and dad's packed up the kids and they went with us because, well.... they had to. (but really they wanted to)
Now some of the cousins are all grown up... they've live away from home and make their own decisions and choices
they still come...
because they want to !
and they do it because there cousins and they really do enjoy being together!

It warms my heart to see all the big cousins make an effort to join the younger cousins for their birthdays, I know the little ones adore the big ones !!!

They are a "special group"
Yesterday was a great day. Michelle is a real good cook and had lots of yummy stuff to eat. Seeing all the grand kids was a blast.

ReplyDeletei love getting together and i loving being there for my family, extended or not, they all mean so much to me! It was amazing to see everyone. I was beginning to get homesick, but after seeing all of you, i felt better. Now, i just need to see my parents! Soon...Good to see everyone! thanks for the awesome Food Michelle! mmmmm!
