Audrey, it the Chapel at Pine Haven Christian assembly near Hubbard, MN. Pine haven is a church camp my husband went to growing up as well as our kids. Our family also spent many summers at the camp...Great memories.
Now I need to pull out my map and find the location of Hubbard because I think that's one small town I don't know. Our girls grew up going to Camp Omega, a church camp near Waterville. Our eldest even volunteered there and later worked as a counselor. So I can understand the memories Pine Haven holds for your family.
Of course, that location would make sense with a name like Hubbard.
I was just reading about the Nemeth Art Center in Park Rapids and their efforts to build suitable storage for a collection of European paintings dating to the 15th century. Have you ever seen the "Gabor & Edith Nemeth Study Collection" of paintings. This really intrigues me.
And where would this lovely chapel be found?

I could live in that building and make it my home!
ReplyDeleteA special place. Think of how many people first heard God calling them in that building!
ReplyDeleteI love that place and have so many memories of the wonders that happened inside it's old, creaky doors. I love the chapel...and camp. I love camp!
