A mix of photography, recipes, personal thoughts, faith, and lots of family stuff, but not necessarily in that order.

Interview by myself

I interviewed myself..... Ask me if I'm bored.

WHEN YOU WERE LITTLE, WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO:
*play with boys, i loved to play any kind of "ball", the guys accepted me and i usually was 3rd or 4th picked for teams in phy-ed. I was pretty strong and i even beat all the boys in leg wrestling in 5th grade.

WHEN DID YOU KNOW RICK WAS THE ONE FOR YOU?
* Ummmmm, immediatley! He walked by me at Ramada Inn on my first day of work and I about died. I remember wanting to know who he was....and was he taken. I dont think he noticed me for awhile, but I guess I must have left a lasting impression on him.

IF THERE WAS A PERFECT JOB FOR YOU WHAT WOULD IT BE? (NEVERMIND THE PAY)
* I would want to take care of the grounds of small business's, mow, trim, prune etc. I would be in my glory. In the winter I would work at a coffee shop part-time. If I had a craft room I would scrapbook and sip on coffee all day.

WHATS YOUR BIGGEST DOWNFALL AT LIFE?
*I'm very selfish with my time... I spend way too much time with myself. I know I need to invovle myself more with people. Volunteering would be good, there's all kinds of stuff out there that I could be involved in, I'm just selfish and want to spend my free time alone.

WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPIEST?
* being with my family. I love being with the kids and Rick. I miss not seeing Brice much, but I'm glad I still get to see Brie (and Chris) alot. Gavin keeps me from falling over the edge.... We still have him for a few years, can't imaging life in our house without kids. sigh

WHAT MAKES YOU SAD?
* i get sad when i think of all the people who dont know Jesus! I get sad when I see things happening in this world that are so warped. All the political correctness gets me crazy. I cant even go there right now...or I'll get sad.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TOO MUCH OF, BUT STILL CANT STOP BUYING?
* Shoes and purses.

LIST 3 THINGS THAT MOST PEOPLE DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU.
1. I really do cry
2. If i could... I'd eat out for every meal
3. I Love having my scalp scratched. (no i dont have lice)

WHAT'S ONE THING THAT YO MOMMA TAUGHT YOU?
My momma taught me how to be strong minded, to stand up for myself and go for what I want.(that's how i got my hubby....persistance and knowing what I want)

WHAT'S ONE THING THAT TO DADDY TAUGHT YOU?
My dad taught me that family was important, friends will come and go, but your family is there for you always.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED FROM YOUR HUSBAND OF 26 YRS?
Rick is a gentle and kind man, who has shown me unconditional love every minute we are together. He is so humble, and positive. He wakes up every morning with a smile on his face and never once grumbles about anything. I kid you not.... this guy is a dream, but i live with him for real. These are some of the qualities that I've seen in my sweet husband. I'm still trying to put those things into practice and I struggle, but I'm reminded everyday as I see those incredible qualities in him.

LAST QUESTION....
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN 10 YEARS?
* Well i can only guess so here it goes.....
~hopefully i'll be retired
~spending time with grandkids
~traveling with rick
~doing volunteer work
~taking up golf again
~running around like a wild woman....
Some things never change.
