So I can choose to be grumpy about this car situation....again, or I can be thankful for things that really matter...........

Who cares if the stupid car wont start....... I got so much to be thankful for, and no reason to complain. Thank you Lord for throwing in that big inconvenience so that I could come to my senses, see past my selfish "whoa is me's" and remember what's important.

ReplyDeleteCar problems are the worst, but you have a wonderful perspective. Yesterday, the visiting pastor said if someone told us to consider it pure joy when we have a problem we would consider them nuts! Yet, that is what Paul tells us to do so we can see how God will work through it. So, you have the right perspective AND it will be interesting to hear how God uses this inconvenience. Who would ever think God would use an old car like mine, but He has....I still hate car problems though!! Yikes, maybe He's using the car to work on me!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah cars are annoying sometimes...my poor Taurus was towed away. RIP MCH. Thankfully we won't have to put up with the worldly things like cars falling apart in Heaven! But until we get there He is gonna provide for us.
