On to Duluth

PART TWO
The second part of our mini-vacation was a two hour jaunt up to Duluth.
Rick and I Love the North Shore, if you cant be near the ocean, it's the next best thing. The first day we spent in Duluth, we walked the shoreline, and out to the pier. We also went to the Omni theater to watch a movie in the great lakes. We shopped and had dinner at "Old Chicago".
~~~
Some familiar sites around the city.
We had a room in the Radisson with a view of
the harbor on the 12th floor, it was stunning.
**
No matter how chilly...I must alway take my shoes off and wade in the water.
~~~
The next morning we decided to head up the shore a bit, we stopped in "Two Harbors" and did some shopping, before we continued up to "the rustic Inn" in Castle Danger.
(Rick's favorite burger place on the shore)
~~~
We stopped along the shore several times, getting out to throw rocks and feel that crisp fragrant air coming off the lake.
The master "skipper" of rocks :)
