Vibe room wall art

A little over a year ago we transformed one of our main floor bedrooms into
what we fondly call our "Vibe Room"
We purchased a much desired massage chair, a full electronic keyboard,
and a giant bean bag chair.
Rick put up a knotty pine accent wall and painted the other walls a muted warm beige/green
(the photos doesn't do the wall color justice)
I added some calming light fixtures, and there you have it....a place to "chill"

 There's one thing still missing...

I have been contemplating for a year....
What to put on this wall.

#1 Make a canvas of one of my favorite nature photos

#2 Buy a print!

#3 Some sort of shelf ?

Then, a few weeks ago It popped up as an Amazon ad! I just love what I saw and it would fit the "Vibe" for that room, but first...

On the other wall above the keyboard I made a printed canvas of our grandkids
jumping off the dock at our cabin!
I'm in love with this print,
it makes me smile every time I look at it :)
Plus it goes along with the "vibe" for this room

So here's that empty wall again from another angle
Big old blank wall !

Back to a few weeks ago when that Amazon ad popped up on my phone...
I instantly loved it...
Unique and a bit of a conversation piece,
We can add some of our favorite books to this sweet looking upside down book shelf.
Each book is secured by an elastic black strap.

Rick was in agreement so I placed the order,
My DIY guy hung it,
I added some items to go on the shelves and Ta-Da!

I’m so happy with how it turned out!
My son Gavin gave me the idea to check out Goodwill for some unique books
to go with what we already had at the house
Simple, purposeful and perfect for our "vibe room"

I'm glad I was patient and waited for the perfect wall accent.
