This is what a screen looks like after it gets run over in the parking lot. CRAP

So...I can no longer send or get text messages, I have no "phone book", So i had to resort to taping a list of phone numbers over the screen, and I cant tell who's calling me. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to wait till January when I have my full $150.00 rebate for a new phone, (that's when my contracts up)

My phone is fully functional, just cant read anything on the screen....it's just awful.

A nap would be good...if only i could

Oh I really dont have anything that exciting to say except that I'm tired and want to have a nap. It's just that I dont really do naps, they just really never happen for me. I guess I'm tired because I went to sleep really late last night. Rick and I got a wild hair to go up to the cities to watch my nephew Sam play football. WAY TO GO SAM. The game wasnt until 7:45 so we didnt leave from there until 9:15.

We drove over to Brice's place, picked up Brice and Jenny and went to Perkins since none of us had supper yet (except Jenny). We had fun talking and catching up on what the kids have been up to. Brice is a busy boy at college and is learning lots of cool neat-o stuff. He told us about some of it. He loves where he lives and gets along great with his roomies. Gill is 22 and a french chef at some restraunt in St paul and John is 29 and persuing his master degree in music at Northwestern college. Jenny is busy working, she's a great massage therapist and Brice gets to have all the benefits from that. "LUCKY", (in Kips voice)

We got home at 1:00am and I didnt go to sleep till sometime after 2:00 Baaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Then i was up at 6:50 to take Gav man to school. Ahhhhhhhhhhh groan.

My lil' sweetie took me out for lunch, we split a club sandwich and it was splendid. We did some chatting and then I took him back to work.

Brianna and I then went to Best buy to get her a whatcha-ma-call-it (some kind of thing that you stick into the computer and it saves stuff onto it so you can take it and hook it up to another puter and save it into there ) anywho then we went to Brie and Chris's place and cleaned up the place a bit..... Painting is finally all done WHoooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooo. The place is awesome and a great first home for the 2 of them. Eeeep

Well then Brianna got a random call on her cell phone.....it was my cell phone calling her. Apparently my phone fell out of my purse in the parking lot at Best buy and was driven over. A man picked it up and pushed the talk button and it happened to ring Brianna's phone. The screen is unreadable but the phone still works. Mannnnnnnnnn now what am i gonna do?

OK....seems like I've been typing forever, I'm still tired and I gotta go pick up the stinky football boys from practice. The next 3 days of my life I work. Blah I hate to wish my days away but I cant wait till the next 3 days are over.

It's an excititng time around the Hemmer household, lots of preparation for the wedding, but seems like a million things still to do (Just ask Brianna)

Brianna and Chris are doing a great job at picking away at suff that needs to get done. They are both very busy little peeps but are hanging in there despite crazy work & school schedules.

This is my pretty "double rainbow" picture that I took the other night, and that's my Friend Cheri's house...except now she moved up the hill a bit :(

Anyway whenever there is a rainbow it always looks like it's going into their backyard. I think there is probably a pot of gold buried under the fence.

We all went to the home coming game, it was fun and a perfect fall night for a game. Century won, which made it even better. After the game, Gavin, Rick and I went to Friday's for appetizer's.

Saturday Rick and I did some Hiking at Quarry Hill Nature Center. It was fun and such a beautiful day for it.

Saturday night Rick and I went to a movie. We saw "the Illusionist" we both really liked it. I would recommend that you see it too.

Sunday The shower

Brianna's Auntie's put on a lovely shower for Brianna, We met up near inver Grove Heights at Ruby Tuesdays. It was lots of fun. We missed Alexandra and Holly but it was great fun anywho.

Brianna worked over night last night and had 1.5 hours of sleep before leaving for the shower, She fell asleep on the way home. Tonight she should sleep well.

IT'S ALREADY TUESDAY AND i HAVEN'T EVEN TALKED ABOUT THE WEEKEND YET. I GUESS THE WEEK IS GETTING AWAY FROM ME. SEEMS LIKE TIME IS IN WARP SPEED RIGHT NOW. jUST LOTS OF STUFF GOING ON. SATURDAY WE WERE BUSY HANGING OUT WITH BRIANNA, WE BORROWED MY DAD'S TRUCK AND HAULED A MATTRESS SET TO THE TOWNHOUSE(WEDDING GIFT FROM GRAN AND GRAMPS E), THEN WE WENT TO A STORE AND HAULED AN ENTERTAINMENT CENTER THAT CHRIS AND BRIE BOUGHT. BOTH BEDROOMS ARE NOW PAINTED. HOPEFULLY THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOMS ARE NEXT.

SUNDAY WAS CHURCH IN THE MORNING AND THEN A BRIDAL SHOWER FOR BRIE IN THE AFTERNOON AT CHURCH. jULIE AND SUSAN PUT IT ON AND IT WAS VERY NICE, THERE WERE MANY WONDERFUL LADIES IN ATTENDANCE, AND LOTS OF FUN PRESENTS TO FILL THE EMPTY TOWNHOUSE. IT WAS A GOOD TIME.

AFTER THE SHOWER I SPENT A COUPLE OF HOURS AT THE CHURCH MEETING WITH THE NEW YOUTH MINISTER, IT WAS A CHILI FEED FOR THE PARENTS. THEN I CALLED MY FRIEND DIANE(WHO I HAD BEEN DITCHING MUCH TOO LONG) AND AGREED TO HAVE COFFEE AT CARIBOU, I WAS SOOOOOOO TIRED AND JUST WANTED TO GO HOME AND GET INTO MY JAMMIES, BUT I NEEDED TO HANG WITH MY FRIEND FOR A BIT.....IM GLAD I DID.

MONDAY AND TUESDAY (TODAY) I WORKED...BLAH YUK

TOMORROW I HAVE OFF FROM WORK BUT I HAVE PLENTY TO DO HERE. BLAH YUK

I THINK I NEED TO GO TO WENDY'S AND GRAB A FROSTY, JUST NEED TO HAVE A FIX, AND BESIDES GAVIN NOW NEEDS THE COMPUTER "FOR HOMEWORK" SO i MUST BE DONE..... IM DONE

AND I MISSED IT ALL :)

Gavin had an awesome game tonight against Austin (so I'm told) I had to work till 5:00 so I wasnt able to go....sad.

I'm told Gavin had and interception. He scored a touchdown, and had a couple of great tackles.

Saturday my friend Cheri,Brie, and I went to look at flowers and arrangement for the wedding. Cheri is doing Brianna's flowers, She will do a great job, we are so relieved that she is the one doing them....no worries :)

We also checked out the reception hall and got some ideas for decorating the tables, then we had lunch at Jimmy Johns.

Saturday afternoon We moved Brice up to his new place in St.paul He will be living in a 1st floor condo with the owner (John) and the other guy, (gill). John is a very nice guy who is currently working on a Master deree at Northwesten college, havent met "GILL" yet. He's a chef of some sort. We got Brice all settled, Brianna arranged his room and Jenny and I watched :)

Then we all went to dinner at "Fern's" yummy

I will miss my boy terribly, but know that he is in a good place, learning and growing and staying up all hours of the night.

Sunday and Monday

Whew....what a weekend. You will all be bored with my endless blogging about Brianna and Chris's Townhouse, but guess what.....get used to it, the next few months of my life will include alot of involvement in their lives, helping with painting, cleaning ect. not to mention the wedding and continued plans, oh it's all gettting so close. It's an exciting time and we are having fun :)

Sunday afternoon Rick, brianna and I spent time at the townhouse, cleaning, pulling wallpaper off, taping prep work for painting. Brianna had some visitors, My mom and dad came over to check out the new place, and Heather and Eric popped in for a bit. Today we spent all day painting, lining cupboards, cleaning. Brianna's lovely cousins Jill and Kellie came over and cleaned like wild women...thanks guys. Brianna and Chris trimmed out their bedroom and Rick rolled the paint on, its so pretty, you will have to come see.

Tonight Rick and I took Gavin out to dinner, It's his last night of freedom before the big 1st day of school tomorrw. We dined at Friday's and it was delicious

Brice called...I miss him :(

MY week in a flash....

I can remember back as far as Wednesday and that's it. Too much for my brain to remember everything. Wednesday morning I spent 3 hours with my dear friend Cozy, The time just flys when we get together, We had Good coffee and Great conversation. Thanks Coz :)

Wednesday night, I attended a meeting at church about the Youth group, We have a new Youth minister,so it'll be exciting to see how great this fall will be for the kids at church....cant wait.

Thursday I met my mom and we shopped at Bed bath and beyond. We had fun finding things for Brianna's shower. Then we had lunch at Perkins, Mom pigged out on a 1/2C soup and a piece of Cantalope.(take it easy would you mom). Thursday night we got to go watch Gavin #66 play for the Century 10 th grade football team. They played real well but lost by a touchdown. Gavin was in on quite a few tackles and played most of the game, He's an animal out there. Rick hasnt been feeling well the last 3 days, so The kids and I went to "West Fire" after the game and bonded. We wished Rick could have been there, but the smell of food was not appealing to him. Poor guy

Oh and fun news....Brianna and Chris "closed" on their town home yesterday, so now they are proud owners. It's a beautiful place, very clean and well taken care of. They will do a great job of making it "their own". They have some time before the wedding to get it freshly painted and all ready for when they return from their honeymoon. YIP

Today We all went to ge the guys fitted for their tux's. It didnt take long, they will all be so handsome.

Not sure what tonight will bring, Brice is busily packing for his move back to school. He starts back on Sept. 6th. Tomorrow we are heading up with him to his new place, then we will meet jenny and we'll go out for dinner. It will be fun. I will miss Brice so much and hope I dont cry as bad as last year, "who will make me laugh?"
